Salut Antoine; j espère que l aéroclub de la vallée du loing fait partie des 11...

There is 20 airfields which arent detailled in the Paris scenery ( France has one of the highest concentration of airfields in the world ). Only 3 are there.
2 packs of 10 airfields each are going to be released ( assuming they follow the same patern they did on the FSX / P3D version ). Those aren't super precise but much better than what we have now (aka none ) and good enough for a local like me who know them in real life.

Try Paris its great

Vaux le vicompte est absent, peut etre hors zone mais c est domage. Une idee serait de le rajouter avec un des pacs aeroports ainsi que brandy les tours.
-
Last time I looked I think the fontainbleau chateau was floating as well a bit
-
I hope you will have enough sales to offer the extra 20 airfields ( and eventually the north Normandy one so we can fly all the way to the Atlantic following the Seine river). They really add to the zone. The scenery is great. Cheers. Étienne

This is not « only a city »; this is a scenario is very similar to the New York City one with a vast coverage including the full région parisienne, tons of landmarks; dozen of airports with 3 detailed and so on.

Amazing news, France VFR scenaries are top notch, detailed and vast. They always have been working on photorealistic scenaries which is the backbone of aerofly, so the fit should be perfect. If you like the NL DLC you will like this one.
Please notice that the region ( if I remember well ) includes the fontainbleau castle, the Versailles castle as well as the chantilly one, so it’s very cool for sightseeing as « jardin à la française » ( French vast geometrical gardens from the XVIIth century as very easy to stop from the sky and each of those castle has a nearby airfield )
This is really a great news and I hope they will port the Normandy westward extension after that ( to be able to fly all the way to the coast by following the Seine river) , then Bretagne which is truly spectacular both in real life and FVFR rendition, then the rest of their France coverage. ( at the moment on FSX and P3D all the coastal regions - Bretagne and the Mediterranean are amazing - all the mountainous regions ( French alps, Pyrenees, central massif, Corsica and Voges/Alsace Jura is still missing but you can fly from Alsace to the alps through Switzerland ) and the touristic regions ( Loire vallée ), more or less half of France is covered ). So by purchasing Paris you open a nice pendora box of potential upcoming other great scenaries ( which are tried and tested, so robust )
Another matter will be the port of the community addons ( each region has a dedicated one which regroup all the national heritage building not covered by the default scenario), but this is for latter.
Truly a no brainer.
Plz post it on steam so you get maximum coverage

thanks alot

How does it compare to the free C152 that was released recently? $40 is a bit hard to swallow for such a simple airplane
Better as you may have expected. The freeware is good, the payware is excellent.

Thanks for the wonderfull scenery

You have to get rid of one of the two existing runways. You should edit (using Notepad, for example) the airport's TSC file and put two back-slashes in front of the lines with the runway you want to eliminate, to avoid AFS2 to draw that runway, thus avoiding the flickering.
The other options would be to ask the original author to edit the airport in FSCloudPort, or asking him to add you as contributor to do the job.
Cheers, Ed
Ok just did it, cool. Etienne

Just bought it, it is great and fun. Highly recommended. Etienne

Hello, I still have flikering with GCTS2, do you observe the same? Etienne
-
Hello, if you dont want to polute the stream folder, the C:\Users\ user Name \Documents\Aerofly FS 2\AddOns\scenery works as well for me
-
Thanks for the patch, it is great
now someone has to fix the GCLP airport altitude as it is a bit low and blinking
-
well for those who like flatten I have bad news because on the next update the mesh resolution will double; this will add more bumps; but of course airports will sit on flatten
Great news; looking forward for the update. One or two static boats at sea would be great too if easy to place.

As per my understanding, there is no such easy way to do, like with XP or FSX. The only way appear to me to use the 3D Tools like 3DMax or AC3D
I guess it is the price to pay to have a super efficient flight simulator. ( no "on the fligth" ajustement of the mesh, just precomputer hard coded data )
