I would recommend Snapdragon 8 gen 2 or gen 3
Avoid ARM graphics cards.

Redmagic 8s pro, other users too are experiencing this bug, zniczk .
The streaming building failed to load.
Buildings too didn't load for me after the update.
Temporary workaround: I changed the graphics API from openGL to vulkan, I exited the settings page so that the game will reload the new settings, after that 3D buildings loaded successfully, for me i changed it back to openGL cause it's more optimized.
You can just go back to the menu and then go into the map. It's just one extra step now.
There is a problem with that, if you have the copilot enabled with route on and you go back to the menu to go into the map, and spend a couple seconds, once you go back into the flight, the copilot will still be enabled but the route option will be disabled, a bit tricky isn't it!
Hi Ipacs,
Thank you for bringing global to Aerofly, it's much appreciated. I have a request that you bring back the in-flight map to Aerofly fs global as it was in Aerofly fs 2020, we need a moving map (that moves with the aircraft) and that allows the view of the entire globe just like the map in the navigation menu in Aerofly fs global. Below is a screenshot refrence, you can access the map by clicking where the arrow is. P.s. a bonus will be adding a live ETE (esimated time enroute) to destination that is synchronised with the flight and updated accordingly. If you could implement the map in a way that the flight doesn't have to be paused when accessing it that will be great.
If aerofly fs global isn't compatible with your Android version, you could try flashing a custom rom of androud 10 or above.
MEGAGONDON If you have windows, u could install BlueStacks, the latest version is 10, after installing it, open the multi instance manager then choose instance then android 11, after it's installed, sign in to play store and you should be able to install aerofly fs global, you may struggle with the controls but it's worth a try. haven't tried gaming on the latest version myself, but for x-plane/rfs it works like a charm, of course i mean with a joystick.
Our new Aerofly FS version requires Android 10 or newer. It wasn't strictly necessary, but older devices sometimes lacked the proper GPU support Aerofly FS needs.
Hi ipacs,
I just had a thought, do you think it's a good idea to include an option to restore default Graphic settings incase we mess around with it and it causes frame rate drops, i mean, many times the game does a good job in detecting how the phone will perform, it might not be the case every time but it may be a useful option to add since sometimes we forget what the optimal settings were after we've messed around.
Just a passing thought
P.s. Global is a welcome sight, thanks for all the hard work.
With Infinite flight, I was able to use my Logitech Wingman 3D joystick tethered. In Aerofly, it recognized the device but the axes were mapped all wrong.
Same with extreme 3d pro
@Aviator53: As for the issues with the navigation or location menu, did you use Vulkan or OpenGL then? Again, unfortunately, Vulkan is not very reliable on Android. Or do you observe the issues with OpenGL
I observe the issues with OpenGL and vulkan, i just tested it again on both.
Yes, it should be able to handle that, but i don't have it so i don't know, it's better to ask admin this question or jet-pack
How is the performance while flying more complex planes? Is it really laggy or acceptable like in Aerolfy FS 2022.
So far, the frame rate is acceptable, everything is set to high, graphics quality, pixel density, clouds, on OpenGL. Poco x3 gt Mali-G77 MC9, although there might be a drop in frame rate once in a while, it's minimal and it's totally playable.
Update: i have this feature on my phone that extends the system RAM upto 3GB by using storage if there's enough storage available...so maybe that's helping.
I have encountered some obvious bugs, there's a delay when you try to go in to the location or navigation menu, the screen goes blank but you can clearly see the aerofly fs text, when you get in to either the navigation or location menu, it sometimes goes black or the map disappears all together, but that doesn't happen always. One more thing i noticed is that if i change to vulkan, the sim works fine but if i revert back to OpenGL, the sim freezes and I can't exit the settings, ultimately it crashes, i have to restart the sim.
And also for me vulkan is pixelated but OpenGL is very clear.
Well it’s not their fault that Android can’t handle the lighting
What about the rog and redmagic gaming phones, lighting and graphic demanding games would be a breeze for these phones, i guess you're talking about the low end phones that have android OS.
The option is available on all devices where the screen size is large enough.
will 6.65 inches be enough to have analog control.
search for pub:IPACS, it should be there.
its probably not showing in the results because it's a new game.
Dear Jet-Pack (IPACS)
can i know at what screen size does the analog control become available, maybe 7.00 inches?
Regards.
We would have to tag the important values as being important and persistent or save the entire aircraft state.
Will this be implemented in future updates?
dear Jet-Pack (IPACS),
The autopilot doesn't stay on after you exit the game and start your flight again, I mean it doesn't engage automatically, shouldn't it do so because I think the flight stage is saved upon exit? those of us that dont have a control hardware or don't have the virtual joystick will find it kind of annoying.
PS: the incorrect altitude is displayed by the altimeter and flight information
I noticed on the latest aerofly 3021 update it said it had performance updates, using less ram and worse resolution on cockpit textures for lower devices, is it still laggy or has the FPS improved with this update?
It's still laggy for me. even with the update, I've made up my mind, I'm hoping to get the rog phone 3 or 5. my current device is not powerful enough. they recommend a phone with snapdragon processor as I think its more powerful, but as a temporary solution, I'm now flying the baron 58 which runs quite well, or the cessna which for me has no lag.
