I think you need to set an ILS approach using the Navigation Menu for the autotuning to work.
-
I'm reinstalling now. And I discovered this includes all the scenery packs! 😫. (I'm on a slow wifi connection here).
Should this solve the auto tuning of ILS freq problem ?

So if the questions is “is it a bit stressful to fly a single engine plane in this kind of terrain” no in switzerland security is a priority so the plane are checked ect.. And it’s very unlikely to happen.
😆
Oh great .... So all those hours I spent during PPL training practising engine failure emergency landing techniques were a waste of time!

I just completed a flight into Boston, and KBOS has gotta be one of the best looking airports in the app. It really is magnificent with so many details. The scenery surrounding is also really good!
Next flight is going to be Boston to Ronald Reagan Washington (Delta A320).

I installed the latest today, and it works with Game Booster.
Now that I'm on OneUI 5, I have now got "Game Booster Plus", which has plugins. There are a few extra elements with this, including a new edge bar to access the booster interface during game play. I have the mode set to "High Quality".
It all seems to work well on my S20FE, and FS 2023 runs fairly smoothly. It is not getting as hot as FS 2022 did.

Hi Osmade,
That looks like a great place to fly😍.
Are there no single engine departures directly to the south?
Mountains and water are hard to beat.
I flew a C172 seaplane once, from Lake Como (rented but with an instructor in the right hand seat). We flew around the different lakes in the area, it was spectacular.
But with only one engine I found myself rather glad there were two big floats beneath us! Theres not a great deal of flat land around beteen the water and mountains .

I'd recommended Innsbruck in Austria, and Eastern Sierra (Nevada I believe). Genova in Italy is also a good one. And what about Andora...you can slide off the runway as its not level. Finally, Lugano in Switzerland, although it doesn't have buildings (unless they have been added in FS 2023 !)

Bogotá ????????? Serious ????? Brazil or Argentina is best choices or All SOUTH AMERICA map
No, lets not have ALL of South America! Just Bogota is enough.
-
I've seen it as well, just on one side. The other side is ok. Closing the app and restarting corrects it. Its a bug that I'm sure the devs can fix.

You had you turn your volume up very high for you to hear it.
Seems to be some debate about whether the A320 had seat belt sign chimes before or not ....? I can now hear them for the first time, do if it was there before then IPACS must have tweaked the sound balances.

Well Concord always was the preserve of the Pilot Elites!
-
For sure the east coast scenery is a big plus! The docks of Baltimore look spectacular ....from above that is 😉
-
We wait for a new feature request ...dolphins and whales visible in the Atlantic Ocean, something to look at for 5 hours!
-
I never heard it before ....
-
In the meantime with 2023 new version we can now fly realistic trans Atlantic routes (well not with real Atlantic tracks), but London / Paris / Dublin etc to Boston / New York / Washington can now all be done!
(I'm not such a realism fanatic that I wouldn't time skip over most of the ocean 😅 ).

Thanks Overloaded (an appropriate name for a single pilot operating a multicrew aircraft and having to tune their Nav radios 😂 ).
I suppose the way to do it is get it ready during the cruise. I will look again at the tutorials here for the different radio systems and how the frequencies are set.
-
What do you mean by that and please explain me the ILS problem
Hi, its about when you switch the passenger seat belt signs on and off. Now each time you switch there is the audible "chime" sound (to alert people on board). This little bit of realism was missing previously.
With thr ILS, when auto-tune is on in the app settings, we don't need to directly adjust the Nav radio frequency to activate the ILS, it happens automatically . I noticed that didnt happen, which meant my ILS was not set and so it didnt capture the signals. I assume that if I had manually set the frequency then it would have worked ok ....
