  • Thanks for the info. I have a whole city of models for my home town I can convert from bgl files to AC files, and then import those into AC3D to convert into AFS2 models for use in AFS2, [I]if[I][/I][/I] I have correctly read some info that has been put out. Since I am not sure if that is possible yet, I will hold off on getting AC3D until the tools and tutorials come out with specific instructions.
  • In general yes if you plan on making an airport, but the GeoConvert tool you don't need to add anything to fly over aerial imagery. There will be a reference system available soon that will give you access to already made models that you can just "tag" and add them to the TMC file. But we aren't too sure yet if you will still need a "dummy" reference made in AC3D or 3DS Max yet.
