Weather is certainly on the list but to be honest it will be a while still before it's released. As with all other features, it will need to meet our standards before it's packed into an update; and this is going to take some time to get just right.
I can't imagine how you guys are gonna make clouds meet the high standard you currently have, can't wait to see what you come up with. I know it's a looooong time off but I am sure it'll be worth the wait.
Since I was a kid clouds seemed the biggest hit on FPS out of anything. Clouds in sims and grass in games I think have always been FPS killers.
