I've noticed that the flaps on the Q400 and the jet aircraft seems to be low. As you add flaps/gear, there should be a need for increased power. It takes some time to slow with flaps extended and throttles idle.

I've noticed that the flaps on the Q400 and the jet aircraft seems to be low. As you add flaps/gear, there should be a need for increased power. It takes some time to slow with flaps extended and throttles idle.
There has been a similar thread not too long ago, I'm aware of this and will increase the drag due to flaps and decrease the drag due to high angle of attack. This should make the speed more stable with correct power settings and you should need a lot more power to maintain high speed or you can slow down quicker.
