What do you typically do to slow down the aircraft upon landing? When I use the reverser manually (by sliding down the throttle stick), I personally think it’s feels more realistic than using the slide brake button, but it gets tricky in 4-engine aircraft like the 747 because of course you need to slide all of those sticks . That’s why thrust reverser button would help.
Thrust reverser button?

When you pull the 'brake' button back, it automatically engages the thrust reversers until it reaches a certain speed, after which it acts as normal breaks.

i do that too, but have you tried pull the reversers manually to slow down the plane? Somehow it feels mechanical. 😂

Aerofly FS is meant to be realistic. That's why the thrust reverser disengages at a certain speed (About 60 knots and lower for commercial jets) and while start braking. This is how braking in real life is done.
