Mr_Smith replied to the thread Airbus: Issue with the thrust reduction altitude.

PS: Out of interest I just tested the TRA on the A319 from ToLiss while coming back to X-Plane 11... It works like I had described: The message "LVR CLB" does not appear until the TRA has been reached, even when the TRA is set above the acceleration height.

Mr_Smith posted the thread Minor Issue with the take off logic in Boeing Aircrafts.

Hey Jan, after take off VNAV (when engaging) bugs for V2 + 20 knots. The real plane however does not add 20 knots to V2, it adds 20 knots to the MCP speed, that has been set manually by the pilot. This is why the pilot is supposed to set V2 in the MCP panel, because if he doesn't, VNAV will indeed bug for a false speed. In Aerofly the initial MCP speed is irrelevant. Greetings

Mr_Smith replied to the thread Airbus: Issue with the thrust reduction altitude.

It works different then compared to Boeing aircrafts (within Aerofly), where the thrust will not be reduced until the TRA is reached, even when its being set above the accel height. PS:

Mr_Smith replied to the thread Airbus: Issue with the thrust reduction altitude.

Just to be clear: I have no doubt about what you said about the real life procedures. It is just the algorhythm, which didn't seem consistent to me. But it's not a big thing anyway and only occurs when the TRA is set above the accel height.

[…] I hope so!

Mr_Smith replied to the thread Minor issue with the Fuel Menue.

Also: Let's say I set the fuel to "x", start the flight and decide after a while to put the plane back at the starting point, then the fuel will also reset to an internal setting "y" - other than what I had set initially.

Mr_Smith replied to the thread Minor issue with the Fuel Menue.

Here are my steps: 1. go to location and set the plane back to the RW 2. go to the fuel menu and change the fuel 3. exit the fuel menu 3. go to the fuel menu (again) PS: Strangly enough the payload gets saved but the fuel not.

Mr_Smith replied to the thread Airbus: Issue with the thrust reduction altitude.

Here's what AI say, which may be false ;) But anyway, if I switch the values, it works as expected: 1500/2000: "LVR CLB" shows up at 1500 ft. 2000/1500: "LVR CLB" also shows up at 1500 ft. :D So currently it just seems to pick the lower value, got it.

Mr_Smith posted the thread Airbus: Issue with the thrust reduction altitude.

Hey Jan, it seems to me that the Airbus does not or no longer respect the thrust reduction altitude, set in the FMC. The message "LVR CLB" already appears when reaching the acceleration height and not when reaching the thrust reduction altitude. For testing I set the value to 2000/1500. - at 1500 feet SRS would change over to CLB as expected - the the message "LVR CLB" however appeared before reaching 2000 ft. I flew the A319. Greetings

Mr_Smith posted the thread Minor issue with the Fuel Menue.

Hey Jan, when changing the fuel amount, then closing the menue and coming back right away before starting the flight, the fuel on board resets to its default - even when the aircraft doesn't get switched to another. So it seems that the settings only gets saved by pressing "start flight". Is the behavior intentional? Greetings

Mr_Smith replied to the thread Boeing 777, 747 probable bug with MCP panel.

Thank you Jan for fixing this issue so quickly! It does indeed not occur when the assistance for "autopilot" is disabled as it seems - I just tested.

Mr_Smith posted the thread Boeing 777, 747 probable bug with MCP panel.

Hey IPACS, after reaching the CRZ ALT using VNAV, the ALT HOLD button starts to flicker. Is this a bug? Greetings
