Due to the reduced depth buffer resolution on mobile devices these z-fighting issues are tricky to avoid. We would either have to limit the amount of zoom that you can use or the aircraft geometry clips when the aircraft gets close to the camera. I think for the tower view this would not be an issue as you don't usually get closer than 50m to the tower anyway.
