it is most likely the trim wheel. It's quite loud in the real plane and I did not write a hack for mobile that would reduce this trim wheel sound volume. If you fly with autopilot on then the trim speed is slower and the sound should go away.

NO, thats obvious what you are stating, these steps can be heard when the plane is in cold and dark with every thing turned off
