Is it possible to change the takeoff flap setting on the 737-500 in the fms?
Like the CRJ900, the FMS of this aircraft is quite lacking. For the moment, there is no solution so I'd just select either flaps 1/5/15/25 based on wind and runway length.

Just adjust the flaps before takeoff and then use that. The retrofit FMS in the 737-500 that we simulate does not have a field for flaps to be entered.
V-Speeds are calculated using the mechanical calculator in the front panel.
