Since this scenery extends up into northern California, decided to take a look at Yosemite Park. Very little resolution and where the village and 'Half Dome' are located is a large lake. Steam says that the "High resolution texture pack' for that area is installed so what am I not doing?
Update. I'm so ashamed - flew into the wrong area. After I found myself and the park, it all looked more recognizable - not overly resolute but OK.
