Although I'm afraid I cannot afford it,
but it looks really mind blowing.
Where is the next fair I can test it????

Delfin,
there is something completely wrong with your system.
Why is morristown a subfolder of somerset?
It looks like the folders are displaced.
Rodeo
It should look like this:
Hi,
3) San Diego is one of the large OrbX airports. Perhaps they port this as well to aerofly, when they finished LOWI and Meigs.
Rodeo
Glad, you could sort it out.
And I hope, you didn't loose your stuff by the crash.
Rodeo
Extremely impressive!
We should definitely go with it until IPACS publishes water animation.
Rodeo
Yes,
they already know this and think about a good solution.
But besides the flightplan I would like to get some interesting information about the route.
We are happy since GACSavannah will go on with even more liveries! :o
Thanks for this from the aerofly FS2 community.
Rodeo
Ray,
excellent flight plan and great service with the PDF download.
It's very nice to have some scenic description while flying this route.
Especially this point makes it interesting to follow the plan.
I would like to see more flightplans like this, e.g. Grand Canyon Tour, Westcoast Sight-seeing, ...
Many people fly over USA (including me) without knowing the scenic showplaces down there.
Rodeo
It's more fun to do this in cooperation:
Please show me the places you want to have them, I will bring the ships in.

While we are all waiting for the new OrbX scenery LOWI,
I have a small package for you:
A historic carrier fleet visits New York City and San Francisco.

The first commercial product for aerofly, and one of the best sceneries from OrbX.
I think this is a must have for most of us aerofly users.
It's exciting to see the journey going on...

Hi there,
since I could not get rid of the timber worms in the deck of my first carrier, I used another model.
This is a low poly model, but with a solid deck to land on.
Additionally I added a SR71, Concorde, Submarine to display the Intrepid-Sea-Air-Space-Museum in New York City.
It will be available in the download shortly.
Another old carrier is soon available cruising on the sea.

Actually you can create new parking positions,
but you can easily destroy the TSC file when making an error.
If you want to try a certain gate at a certain airport, publish a screenshot and I add this position to aerofly.
Then you can check how to do this.
A while ago I published a video about push back with thrust reverse.#

...I'm considering this a FREE new feature!!? Hahahahq
I do not expect to getting paid for this tip, hehehe.

Jeff,
I'm really happy that you got through all this stuff and many pages of descriptions.
Thumb up for your job and we're looking forward to fly in Florida.

One small correction: The image program is called 'Irfanview'.

Ray, obviously it's only you and me who didn't know this feature.
Hehe...
You can add the carrier name to the Location and Navigation Menu to see the positions on the map.
This is the block in the TSC file:
<
[list_tmsimulator_runway][runways][]
<[tmsimulator_runway][element][0]
<[tmvector2d][endpoint1][-122.6982307 48.3518211]>
<[tmvector2d][endpoint2][-122.6982307 48.3518211]>
>
>
Use the same coordinates as in the upper part of the TSC.
The name is in the field <[string8][sname][USS Nimitz]>
We could even add a length and width of the deck, but this is more effort. It's enough just to see the name.
Attention: Do not mix up your TSC, the arrows are very important. It's always an opener and a closer arrow.

Hi jschall,
I included a PDF in the download with more information.
I used Irfanview to work with the aerial image, and AC3D for the 3D job.
Additionally I have installed the SDK package from IPACS.
I didn't count the hours, but it took some days of work.
It is difficult to calculate because I had to establish a workflow for scenery development without using professional tools like 3dmax.
You'll find my scenery tutorial in this thread:
http://www.ipacs.de/forum/showthre…39070#post39070
If you want to try it for your own I am up to support you.
Rodeo
Overloaded: The carrier is still in my queue, but we already have the Nimitz of Dave.
I definitely want to fix this deck without timber worms.
Whidbey: The sun is breaking through the morning mist while USS Nimitz visits the base.
Select a route in the navigation menu.
Then click somwhere on the route axis and keep the mouse pressed for a second.
aerofly creates a new waypoint which you can move over the map.
Did you already know this feature?
