I have the same mesh issues. Bad loading just north of 60 degree. But also very bad between Tromsø and Bardufoss and east of this area. Using Taburet's mesh.

In my opinion you do not have to cover all area's in between airports, not in the first place anyway. But that is just my opinion

Does the Trondheim(værnes airport) area have desent orthos?

In real life there are many regional routes in and out of Bodø, operated by Widerøe and their Dash 8 series.

Many of them goes west or north west, crossing the vestfjord out to your Lofoten and Vesterålen ☺

Hartman, if you later wants to continue developing scenery for Norway, i hope you continue from your Lofoten scenery going further south against Bodø city

Norway is also very scenic going north, but on my pc the mesh loads in patches(south east of Tromsø city).

Where is the "heading hold" engage button/switch ?

I would guess next to the "bar alt" button, but i am not able to find it and engage heading hold
