Just updated to today’s last version. iPhone 8 here. Battery drain problems are here, not solved. It seems that a little, very little improvement was done, but not enough. May be the way of reducing memory usage is tha correct way...

Just installed iOS 14.4. Battery drain issues are solved in many apps, but not for Aerofly FS 2021. I have a drain of 20% in ten minutes of flight. I am on iPhone 8. Is there the hope to get a solution from you devs?

Did you get your iPadOS update-update. I have 14.3.
Run unlimited frame rates, exit then run limited.
The charging and discharge with 2021 was fine on my iPad pro 9.7” after a restart.
(I’ll try a run at Palmdale/Edwards! .... it was fine.)
Yes I am on iPhone 8 14.3. On FS2020 everything was ok...

That’s crazy! In Palmdale/Edwards area my battery drop for 30% in 15 minutes, instead in Switzerland, over the Alps (a lot of polygons!) it drops of 1%... What’s going on devs?

Damn! I just did a flight from Edwards AFB to Palmdale (sort of 30 miles of trip) in the NASA F/A-18 and battery dropped from 62% to 39%. The flight took only ten or fifteen minutes... The only change from my regular flights in Shelter Cove whit my Pitts is that I rised the traffic sliders to mid position and that I used autopilot for the cruise part of the flight... Devs, I think that we need another battery saving update.

Looks like that after update the phone is cooler than before and battery consumption is more limited. Good work! And thank you!

I wonder if Devs are considering new and more liveries for Cessna or Pitts (and to get rid of the German flag inside the non German versions of Pitts cockpit...).

iOS updated to 14.3 yesterday, but overheating and battery drain remains in FS2021. Please tell us what we have to expect about this problem...

We have identified and fixed the in-app download issues on some devices. Please update to the latest version ( 20.21.09 ) and try to download the optional regions again.
Any fix for overheating and battery drain?

Have you tried setting the frame rate to limited in the graphics settings?
Yes. Tried it, but battery drain is not solved.

On my iPhone 8 I have dramatic decrease in battery charge even whit 5 minutes of flight, even whit all traffic sliders set to low. For 5 minutes of flight I get 20% of drop of battery charge. The same activity in fs2020 almost not affected battery. I have both fs2020 and fs2021 and the differences in battery usage are dramatic. Please fix this or I have to ask for a refund. I have every fs2021 scenery downloaded and installed. Thank you.
