Is this really a power plant cooling tower?!

On the Aare river? west of Zurich/The COOP.

I saw one in cultivation-ed P.C. FS a while back, I didn't get excited as FS had no helicopters.

Yes, it's there. But this is a phantom tower, a hologram. You can fly through it. You can not only hide in it, but also peek out from the side. :)

Other: In the Ju52, you can already see the numbers on the ADF panel if you crouch down.

The 52/3m ADF band selector seems to be disabled, probably not a bad thing. Tracking towards Buchanan Airport I got a signal at about 336 on the dial (340 with one 4 division to the right (!). Not an impossible tune in for the correct 335 MHz.
I must try the scenery some time, I’m really only interested in the planes8)
