No, it only changes the date when you select a mission to fly. -

In order for the date to get used in my flight I have to edit the tmd file before starting AEFS4 right? As I leave the session and close the sim the next time I start will it revert to the default 2022 date, or will it… -

This is almost how it works. The formula is
Time_hours = UTC.hours + (UTC.minutes / 60)
You example would be right for 20:15 = 20.25.
The time can also be set from inside Aerofly, but not the date - which is in the same spot in the main.mcf as the time.

1) Find and edit the "main.mcf" file in the Aerofly folder under local Windows account "Documents" folder;
2) Search for the "<[tm_time_utc][time_utc][]" entry and in the "time_hours" field enter the…
