cockpit view

Sorry in case this as already been asked, Just how do I set pilot view ? I have tried over and over without success. I can pan the view but I am never completely in the pilots seat?

The default view should be the pilot seat cockpit view... Pressing 1 and 2 cycles you through the default cockpit views: one of them should be the correct one. There also is an option called Reset Pan which afaik is assigned to the Home key by default. (Unfortunately a zoom reset is sorely missing.)

I do wonder how things look on your screen: how offset is your view?

Settings->Controls->View then scroll down to bottom and set up the Move commands to your liking - this moves your eyepoint / seat position.
