I received an announcement email this morning for the Orbx CityScene Orlando for FSX/P3D. This covers a very large area surrounding Orlando, Florida and includes some basic upgrades to the two major airports.
Although this will most likely never see the light of day on our Aerofly FS2 screens it does give hope that maybe, someday, one of the developers will venture into City Scenes or something similar for AFS2. Even without a surrounding DLC the improved area is large enough to stand alone as a local flying area. Just imagine city scenes in AFS2 for say Dallas/Ft. Worth, or Memphis, Atlanta, Washington DC, Seattle. Oh my, wouldn't that be outstanding.
