Sim vs Sim

    Hi Freunde.

    Since it´s a international forum community, I will write in english.

    I know it´s the eternal who vs who question but because there is no demo version of Aerofly RC I have to ask this nevertheless :/

    Did Aerofly RC improve the physics over Reflex XTR2 which I think feels very realistic. The only reason for considering an investment in Aerofly RC10 is the variety of sceneries and gliders. I like 3d flying (in a sim) with a Katana or would like to check the Addiction (which I own unflown).

    In reallife I love F3K/F5K and F3J-like planes at the slope, maybe grow into F3F... The Reflex XTR2 feels and looks so realistic but is only a little limited. Will I be disappointed, does someone know the XTR2 and could tell me differences?

    And - does Aerofly ever was on black friday sale? Waited for months until the RC10 release and hoped for earlybird or introduction price - but nothing like that. I don´t need 300 planes but some very good gliders and 3D planes with a realistic feeling. Some people say, that Aerofly RC9 physics are still good as they could be, same for the graphics.

    Again, I would like to jump on the train but am afraid to be bummed.

    Hallo, gegen den Reflex spricht, dass er nicht auf aktuellem Stand ist, letzte News 3.11.2019, leider scheint der tot zu sein. Ich hatte mal den Reflex mit VR getestet und es war ein sehr schlechtes Bild. Aerofly RC hat mit VR und den 4D Szenen die Nase weit weit vorne. Ich bin selbst aktiver Modellflieger und z.B. der Lentus von Multiplex fliegt im Aerofly unter VR sehr sehr ähnlich. Sicher wird ein sehr guter PC und Grafikkarte benötigt, besonders wenn VR geflogen werden soll.

    Ich bin mir jetzt nicht sicher, ob man den Aerofly nicht auch testen kann, ich meine man kann ihn runterladen und starten und dann geht nur ein kleiner Teil, aber da müssten mal die Admins was sagen.

    Mit ohne Englisch komm ich super klar. Ja, der Reflex ist natürlich in der Entwicklung stehengeblieben, aber ohne VR ist die Grafik überzeugend und schön anzuschauen. Hab ne VR Brille auch nie probiert - ist vielleicht mal ein Projekt für die Zukunft.

    Es gibt Schreiber im Forum, die sagen dass die Flugzeuge wie "Ballons" oder "wie auf Schienen" fliegen und dass die Strömungsabrisse nicht realistisch seien. Das kann der Reflex schon ziemlich gut und von Leewirbel kriegt man auch mal einen "gezwitschert" :S

    Aerofly RC8 Standart wird gerade für 29€ als DVD angeboten, was ja wie eine Demoversion wäre. Dann sollten die 29€ im Kaufpreis von RC10 aber irgendwie berücksichtigt sein. Verstehe auch nicht die Updatepolitik - RC8 auf RC10 geht gar nicht scheinbar und alle Zwischenschritte kosten extra. Davor fürchte ich mich schon, falls ich hier einsteige...=O

    I have all the RC simulators but Aerofly RC is the best.
    XTR2 is getting old and some aerobatic planes are behaving strangely.
    Torque is sometimes easy and sometimes very difficult with some Multiplex aircraft, when in reality this is not the case.
    Aerofly RC is a good balance and the settings allow you to fine-tune the flights

    Da sind halt nur wenige Modelle und Flugplätze beinhaltet, und gegebenenfalls brauchst du noch einen Adapter, also wenn es sehr günstig sein soll kannst damit sicherlich starten.

    Die Modelle im Aerofly können alle auf ihr Flugverhalten angepasst werden, meist fliegen sie im Standard nicht so gut, aber da gibt es sehr viele Möglichkeiten wie Schwerpunkt, Klappenwege, Abreißverhalten und vieles mehr. Z.B. ein Segler wie in echt, mit Butterfly, Thermikstellung, Speed etc. ist einstellbar.

    Seit RC7 gibt es den "Dongle" nicht mehr. Die Registrierung wird online gemacht.

    Ich meine nicht ein "Dongle", sondern einen USB Adapter wie Rx2Sim oder das USB Interface von Ikarus zum Abschluss seines Empfängers und des Senders, ggf. geht das aber mit Kabel etc. günstiger.

    So, sailplanes behave a little weird when I let them dive and expect them to get very fast - they stay at the same velocity like I would have set flaps. Landing at the slope is like landing on ice. They slip down the slope and break.

    What I absolutely like is the Addiction in the Las Vegas scenery with all that obstacles and the lights switched on. But I wonder how did I became that good in hovering. Too easy maybe?
