What he is trying to say is can we get a sneak peak or some info about the 737 release 😉

Say I go through a lengthy cold start checklist, but I only have a few minutes to play, can it resume from where I stopped? For example on the CRJ it didn’t seem to save the thrust reverser armed state

From my past experience, when I exit the game and I get back, it doesn't save your state and it will automatically put the plane into Already Started mode (or something i forgot the name, but you understand me:)

Currently no the whole state is saved only some things like the position, velocity and attitude and the configuration preset (takeoff, landing, cruise) but not the state itself. This is mostly because the state cannot be re-applied if the aircraft is updated in the meantime. So if we roll out an update the state cannot be used anymore and handling that is not so easy. It is possible but we just have not had the time for it yet.
If you keep the app open in the background it might save the current state. Only if you close the app completely will it loose all memory, this can happen automatically though if your operating system thinks it's a good idea to close the app to free some memory.

Jet-Pack (IPACS) I've noticed that if you exit the app without completely closing it, it restarts, this is a bit annoying because if you're doing a long flight and need to check something else on your phone the game will sorta restart... Is there a way for you to fix this in the upcoming title?
