Hello IPACS!
I was wondering if it is possible for Aerofly to stream DLCs with global scenery enabled in FS4?
I don’t have enough space for both EU sceneries so I will most likely rely on global scenery for now.
Thanks!

@Max.M: With Streaming in FS 4 enabled, you indeed don't need the extra scenery DLCs. You get the same content.
In Sydney hat es bei mir keine Rollwegweiser,heruntergeladen..oder bleibt das so??????

admin Sorry for bringing this post up again! But this is very good to know and would give me a huge amount of disk space back. ![]()
So when using global scenery in FS4 (Mac OS Steam version here) there would be no benefit in downloading the DLC packs? Except less internet streaming of course, which isn’t really an issue.
Thanks for the clarification! Just wanted to be 100% sure in deleting the DLC packs.
Mtyn: Yes, the DLC packs are optional and a not required if using the Streaming service. You just benefit from them if you want to play offline.
Thanks a lot! Very good to know.

Interesting, so I can turn off streaming if I already have the Europe DLC installed?
@777Driver: Not if you want to fly world wide as only the Europe and USA regions are included.

Yeah, I figured, thanks. Just flying around Europe in the A319. Cheers. Btw I posted a video of the Lighting issue in the VR thread.
I have global scenery enabled, and also have the DLC scenery packs installed. I am on Windows 11.
How do I uninstall the DLC packs to recover disk space? I don't see an option to do this in Steam, nor in Aerofly.
If I uninstall the DLC packs, will I lose anything, such as aircraft?
It's always simple stuff that solves issues, right?
I uninstalled the scenery packs and recovered 160 GB of drive space.
Thank you!
I understand your happiness! same here.
