Tab on the speed knob. Then a green disk shape and a ring around it will appear. Drag the inner disk up on the screen to push the knob forward.
To get the managed speed mode to work you obviously need an active navigation route. If you started from cold and dark you also have to fill in the necessary fields in the MCDU, for example the cruise altitude, the cost index and the gross weight and fuel.
