Hi,
It doesnt matter where i start, or what settings I have, i have no trees...and i have all my settings on Ultra,,,still no trees!
Cheers,
Mal...
Further to the above, this is getting weird now, I have some trees, but they fade in and out as I pass by? They disappear (come and go) when I take off they disappear...
Mal...
Maybe try updating your graphics card drivers from the amd website?
Hi Jet-Pack,
I'm up to date with the latest driver thanks,
Mal
Have you turned your driver to default settings?
HiFlyer,
I've only ever used default settings with each diver, I don't think AMD are updating this card anymore, due to its age!
Ouch! How is it at running FSX?
Pretty good, I've it set to 26 fps, and with a complete collection of Orbx sceneries, I do OK...I know I really need a new rig, but the performance in Aerofly is incredible...its just the lacking of these darn trees {LOL}
One thing we all have to remember is that Aerofly FS2 uses OpenGL4.5 for graphics and not DirectX11. I don't think that older graphics cards are always good at recent OpenGL since it isn't used by many games.
OK thanks for that, so if my card cannot display OpenGL 4.5 then I'll never get the best out of this sim?...ooh well, back to good old FSX SE!
Don't give up just yet - it's possible that IPACS may have some ideas - and it might not be the OpenGL issue with regards to trees, but something else. I was just guessing at a possible problem - I think that Nvidia cards have kept up with newer OpenGL - just not sure about AMD. FSX SE is still twice as slow as FS2.
OK, thanks for your help, I'll keep an eye on the Forum, and watch out for updates!
