@IPACS,
I am trying to convert an aircraft carrier from AC3D where it looks fine to an FS2 scenery model where I see all sorts of 3D object translations - generally just vertical. I can't easily fix the AC file and hope it looks correct. I can send the AC file and the textures if you want to test it yourself. The only errors that I see in the LOGfile are like the following:
converting folder = './'
0.09: converting geometry file './nimitz_midspot.tgi'
0.10: (type = 'object')
0.67: better strip found: 76956 -> 76858
1.21: better strip found: 166 -> 164
1.26: ERROR: stripping problem(There is an error trying to break sequential triangle
1.26: )

1.27: better strip found: 3784 -> 3750

I guess you should turn off autoheight...

I wonder if moving the gizmo's down to the deck level would stop that from happening on scenery objects?
Nice work on that Carrier, WhiteAV8!

Jet-Pack (IPACS),
Where do I turn off Autoheight? Also, why would some of the models be OK and others not?Dave
EDIT: That fixed it - autoheight is set in the .tsc file
