Usually with 0.0001 which gives a 11m distance between the trees, much nicer than the 27m with 0.00025. I have also tried with denser trees but too dense does not look natural because of how the trees are structured.
OK thanks.

Ray

Great file, thanks.
With the spacing of the trees of 0.00025 degrees the trees are in a distance of 27m to each other (111'000m x 0.00025, one degree is 111km). By changing this value i got much denser forests.
Tom,
What value are you using for tree density?

I also would like to have dedicated keys for dedicated views without cycling through a few other views to get there. I probably only use 4 different views 98% of the time.

Rodeo uploaded a very nice grass runway/airport in western Germany. Lots of nice extras included. Check it out - EDXE

Sure, but we all know how to eat the elephant.

Looking good.

There are many more nice GA airfileds over there, like Ballif or Saint François, Les Saintes...
And of course, the flight between Martinique and Guadeloupe beautifully enlarges the playground...

There are no bad choices for island scenery development here. I would cast a vote for Sint Marteen with full cultivation development and more detailed airports. Princess Juliana Intl would make a great stop over when flying from the U.S. to South America via the island chain.

nope ... but I'm already on it
Bananas anyone? Lots of choices for some choice scenery along the island chain.

Scenery:
Something like OrbX True Earth New Zealand (and Australia too, but that is a bit large for a True Earth version). Alaska would be great too.
Aircraft:
Vintage stuff: Ford Trimotor, Catalina (let's have some seaplanes), DC-4, 727
Any seaplane. The Aerosoft Catalina would be a great ole bird for AFS2.

@ Chiefkoch, your right it is a Grob 109A.
KJKsimmer since i am not a professional developer it will a slow progress to get to a flyable model. Especially since the programming of the flight model locks quite complicated and not very well documented. So maybe later i will need a little bit more help from the community. It seems to me the modeling is the easiest part of the development despite it is the most time consuming.
Maybe a upgrade to the B model will be possible. More hp, longer wingspan, increased GW, slightly faster, and a variable pitch propeller all sound like nice improvements.

Ray
Looks good! G109?
A self-powered 2-seat side by side 100 kt. motor glider would make a fanstastic addition to our virtual fleet. Please stay on it.

Holy moley, there are almost no duplicates in our aircraft wishes. I never expected such a wide spread of “most wanted” aircraft.
About the only ones missing are the Concorde and the MV-22 Osprey, which btw, are both on my longer wish list.

Ray

Simwerft,
Looks like you might be the only user actively attempting to design an AFS2 flying model. Jan has all the answers for you.

Hawaiian Islands and the R-22 would make a good start.

If you need to know your pc specs download and install Speccy
Be careful with this link. One misstep and you will have installed CHROME whether you want it or not.
