There is already an excellent 10-m mesh of Norway:
I had lots of trouble with that Mesh, looked like a different planet. Lots of elevation spikes and sinkholes. Did it work and look good for you?

Interesting location choice, airport looks great Ryan! I agree, very cool name
Anyone recommend two or three great areas of Italy that I should download Level 9 grid sizes, and should I go with BING or GOOGLE?? I have Rodeos great Venice DLC scenery but was thinking some hills/cliff/mountain areas.
I was creating Terrain Heightmaps a few months ago no problemo.
A few weeks ago I wanted to perform the task again, failed. Last week I tried again, failed.
GeoConvert would start converting tiles but no Elevation .TTH files are appearing in the 'scenery/images folder'
Very odd, because I've quadrupled checked my work/process and it checks out (at least to me). I even reinstalled SDK kit, same results.
Definitely will need to find a volunteer to try the conversion. I will package all the files/folders to GoogleDrive if anyone is willing to just click the Batch File button?
If anyone would like to help a fellow out please PM me.
Kai, your work looks incredible! Very impressive Detailed Description list. Love the night lighting inside the cockpit. I have a feeling this will become one of my favorite airplanes.
Side Note: Also looking forward to your Buecker/Gomhouria project
Jake, how do you have your reprojection set in the WMR driver settings? "motionReprojectionMode" : "motionvector",
A few weeks ago I made the switch to "Motionvector" after realizing I never had MotionReprojection properly activated. I have not tried "Auto" yet but perhaps I should give it a try?
I figured having reprojection on constant 45fps, it would just make a smoother experience. (I could be wrong, and perhaps "Auto" is better)
As I mentioned earlier, by enabling "motionvector" I had a bit of lagging/glitchy/tearing menu screens. Since the Windows 1903 update, all that is fixed.
Hard for me to tell just how much more clarity was gained, however this update did seem to improve the stability of WMR while in game.
Example while having motion reprojection always activated I would get horrible tearing/lag effect in menus. That is now gone. Of course it is important to also have "renderTargetScale" settings set to 2.0 rather than 1.0 otherwise there is a horrible shimmering in the distance.
Do any of you guys ever have trouble getting AF2 audio to play out of your Odyssey headsets? (Audio works from other applications except AF2) It's like it's a hit or miss sometimes.
Sounds exciting! Will check this update out. I thought I had it installed yesterday but when manually checking it was not updated. Was on 1809 as well but that's because I had disabled auto updates. Thanks for reminder!
Is that setting found in the ViveVR menu or is it part of Aerofly FS2?
It's not part of Aerofly FS2, I have Windows Mixed Reality and SteamVR. To be honest I don't know where to adjust the Vive settings, but I do know it's possible. Perhaps a trusty Google search?
Does it maintain a truly smooth frame rate even in dense areas at 120 fps? I have a Vive Pro, and even with a 2080 TI and an 8700K at 4.7 I have to turn down the over sampling to 1.0 to maintain 90 fps.
Oldar, have you considered trying motion smoothing? It sets everything to 45 fps but sends in a filler image and imitates 90 fps thus allowing you to turn a few settings up higher. I find it great for flight sims.
I really like this guys channel, he reviews VR for mostly flight sims. Looks like some people are having issues with screen cutting in and out.
"Might be the reason HP is not currently in stock? Trying to fix the issue?"
Sylvain,
I am especially pleased that you are the one and only designer/developer to actually capture the physical size of the vertical braces between the windows and the windscreen. The view from the pilot's seat is perfect as opposed to all other C152 models that I have seen.
I agree, those wide windows and the position of pilot seat offers some fantastic views.
Longtree if you are interested the Steam Sales have started and the U.S. SOUTH FLORIDA DLC is only $8.74 along with a bunch of other DLC's for a great price.
Thank you Sylvain for sharing the C152. Much respect for your time and dedication on plane creation.
I understand what you mean, but the problem is how do I convert the textures to ttx format without MCX? In your tutorial video you just pulled the texture to the content converter executable, but when I do that I just get an error message that some config file couldn't be loaded.
You need to assign your .BMP texture names in MCX because that's how and what your '.OBJ' file reads and understands which textures it needs.
To convert 'textures only' with Content Converter is to make sure you do not have an '.OBJ' file in the conversion folder. The Content Converter will send out an error message because the .BMP textures are not assigned to the .OBJ file.
In short: To Convert Textures only, make sure there is no '.OBJ' file in the Content Converter Folder. Otherwise unassigned texture names will cause the Content Converter to send an error message.
Add Night Texture option in MCX is not the correct way to create night textures. Simply rename desired daytime textures in MCX with '_color', right click 'remove alpha' , export model in obj format. Once exported to folder, edit desired '_color' texture into night texture, when finished create a copy and rename it with '_light'. You should now have two BMP texture files. 'Example_color' and 'Example_light'. Hope this helps.
That's a very impressive update list. Definitely worth the purchase.
A great place to fly, now available on Steam.
aerofly FS2 and DCS are awesome clear, i have see no mura or flickering yet., i would say its twice clear as the odyssey + sweetspot is better than odyseey,
This is such great news to hear. Since I managed to not put any of my other headsets up for sale yet. I will be waiting til either Reverb has a sale or we see other companies release similar spec versions of their headsets. Who knows things could change
