You should be able to convert sceneries using Model Converter X

ModelConverterX | SceneryDesign.org

Depending on how the original models are formatted and packaged together, most models can easily be converted, some need to be optimized with a bit of texture rework in order for proper conversion.

FSCloudPort allows you to create simple runways and place buildings etc around airport. You need to sign up for access.

If you are looking to add trees, lights, auto-gen buildings, you can use Nabeel's scenery editor.

AFS2 - Scenery Editor

FSCloudPort is your only hope for easy single runways.

If you need to adjust the runway position, just edit the TSC file with the proper coordinates.

As for other software, you will need 3ds Max or AC3D. The learning curve is a bit difficult in my opinion. I've successfully created an airport runway with taxi ways before but it's easy to forget the proper steps, or run into an issue even with tutorials and video tutorials.

With this motherboard, I sometimes have connection problems with my HP Reverb G2.

There are workarounds by adjusting specific settings in BIOS, however still sometimes I get connection problems.

Usually Aerofly FS2 works in VR, however with the latest BIOS update I can't get MSFS 2020 to work properly with HP Reverb G2.

In regards to your Gigabyte B450 Gaming X, S. AM4 v2

I believe this motherboard should not have any problems.

If you upgrade PC be careful with AMD CPU along with the AMD x570 motherboards. It makes the HP Reverb very hard to work properly.

Steam has a sale for most holidays. The next sale is May 27th - 31st.

Steam offers simple installation and updates. Also Steam typically has a sale for Memorial Day or 4th of July holiday. Often you can find Aerofly FS2 for around $40 dollars.

Actually, I assumed that's what was going on as mine was deleted as well.

I was referring to a user yesterday who managed to comment a large amount of times in the forum within a short amount of time. His posts were deleted along with mine. So I assumed IPACs was just cleaning house from all the non-sense.

I'm not actually sure why yours were deleted.

The sling load feature has my mind daydreaming about some of the fun scenarios that could be created.

I have a specific PNW Quatam River scenery that I have completely redone recently. Looking to share it very soon. Has a similar animation to sling load operations.
