AF4 Questions before buying

No, the simulator does not pause if you let it run. In fact, I go to sleep when i fly so you can keep it running, and yes the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick does infact work.

Yes, and Aerofly manages correctly the full screen mode.

Yes, but be careful with the old fashion USB-a on the Thrustmaster devices, you'll need an USB-c adaptator

Aerofly FS 4 natively runs on Apple Silicon.

About the adapter:

As far as I know, both the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition and the iMac each have USB-C sockets. USB-C cables are therefore sufficient as a connection. An adapter is therefore only required if the Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition also includes a cable with a USB-A plug.

That's right.

The Quadrant has an USB-c socket but delivered with a USB-A/USB-c wire.

The standard Sidestick gets an USB-a câble.

The Airbus X Sidestick (PC or XBox) has an USB-c socket (I suppose this product works on Mac in PC mode).

Hi. It uses the sticks.

It's perfect for Airbus controls but it should not for other aircrafts.

I assigned buttons like the attachment.

But don’t know if it works with Aerofly, and neither if it works on Mac.

And one more thing, unfortunately, Aerofly doesn’t simulate the Airbus sidestick behavior on other planes whenever a stick is connected instead of a yoke (it would act on the cockpit yoke like it acts on Airbus commands, so you could apply trajectory corrections translated into a yoke position).
