Hi Devs.

ungefähr so?

-
ungefähr so?

Triple AAA.

For now you can copy the entire aircraft folder into user documents/Aerofly FS 2/aircraft and then rename the folder as well as the .tmds, .tmc and .tmb. Just make sure not to rename the controls.tmd as well as all textures and use no spaces in the file name. You could e.g. do: "asg29mod". Any updates made to the ASG 29 aircraft will only affect the default one, not your modded one. You can destinguish the two in the loading dialog if you edit the .tmc DisplayName and DescriptionText... And user aircraft are usually at the end of the aircraft list...

Thx. Is it planned in near future to make the pilots figure switchable ingame?

Jet-pack, just to make sure i'll get it right:
i copy (duplicate, not erase) my whole airplane stuff from C:/programs/____ to C:\Users\Besitzer\Documents\Aerofly FS 2\aircraft.
i rename the new folder at the new location with myFA18 or so.
inside that folder i re-name all the tmds, tmcs and tmbs.
When game loads it will offer both the default (from C:/progr....) as well as my modded from c:/users/......
correct? -

yes that works with my current Steam version
-
That works right up onto the first update from Ipacs to that aircraft, which you will consequently overwrite by placing back your old files...

Maybe its possible to add for this setting (and others) a file in the aircraft folder e.g. c172_user.tmd for overwriting the default values, so the program could read for example c172.tmd + c172_takeoff.tmd + c172_user.tmd and so on. Perhaps this user-setup can be stored in the user directory C:\Users\Roger\Documents\Aerofly FS 2\aircraft\c172 ... instead of the application folder.
Regards,
Roger
