Yes this type of texture is particularly valuable for helicopter landing because it helps enormously to judge the distance with the ground.

Yes, it would make a huge difference when flying low to the ground or landing with the R22 👍

It would be GREAT to have som kind of texture overlay to hide the blurrynes when flying VFR or landing on grass strips water etc.

Could it be possible in Aerofly :/

I have found this tutorial for close up texture for another sim.

I hope it's okay to post in here. I didn't know how to explain it otherwise.

I'm not happy with the update.

Unfortunately they haven't fixed important bugs like floating buildings and object in the middle of the runways.

I have pointed this out on Orbx support forum back in september last year with screenshots and locations.

So I'm a little disappointed that it hasn't been fixed after 6 months :(

    Tak for svaret drhotwing1 :)

I have uploaded 2 Widerøe Q400 repaints to Flight-Sim.org. Both aircraft are reasonably clean, but clearly in active use, with LN-WDL being slightly more dirty than LN-WDG.

    Wow! Thank you! :thumbup::thumbup:

    Amazing attention to detail.

The little details like the SAS Group Company logo on one of them :)

I'm really looking forward to try this out.

    Thank you!

Jump seating is fun. Not as much fun as being a meter or so further forward, but still a lot of fun and a great learning opportunity.

If you are really looking forward to the Widerøe, why not surf the net (Here is a great source... https://www.airliners.net/sear…icType=2573&airline=60903) and pick out a specific airframe that you are interested in, and I'll do my best to include it.

I saw the Ryanair preview. Your work is looking great!

    Yes it was great fun!

Here is some images - unfortunatly not with alot of details.

But I was able to find the registration: LN-WDG :)

On airliners.net I was able to find these images of the exact same plane (Not my pictures)

I have found the logo as vector here:

    And here is a .png

Sounds amazing - thank you very much 👍👍👍

I'm really looking forward to fly the Widerøe some day. I have been sitting in the jump seat of a "real" Q400 from Widerøe a couple of times between Denmark and Norway and it would be awesome to pilot the thing my self 🙂

Iv tryed to paint the engines for the 737 and having no luck but iv painted the body work and converted them but as for the engines no luck did it diffrent ways and still the same. Is there any body can help me with the engines cos im not having much luck with it . iv changed the colur on diffrent layes in photo shop and still the same so i have no clue whats going on with it.

    Looks good!

Do you plan to share your work when finished? 🙂

I have a new vision for my VR rig. An entire garage with VR & motion platform right in the middle. We also need wire free solutions, then you could do proper external inspections all round. Maybe a dummy door needed too.

    That would be Nice 👍

I did this in the Cessna last year and the level of detail was amazing. Looks like the real thing for sure. You better have something to hold onto though, it is a long way to fall.

    Ray

Yes, and got to watch out where you step outside VR ☺️

    Just saw:

"* Fixed R22 Tail rotor control when using Touch Controller thumb-sticks"

And have never turn on my pc and started ASF2 this fast before!

Unfortunately it wasn't a fix for my left rudder issue? ?(
