Vor me it is enough to see the flight plan in the FS 2 Moving Map and in the info bar.

An an capacity problem. I got nearly a TB full now with AFS2 ortho ...
Yesterday, I installed a second 1 TB for my FS 2.

Still the same: Bing is slow and Google fast, like before. Strange

30 mins for Grid 9, ZL 17, AFS-Level 9,11,12,13,14 just doesn't sound possible.
That was the normal time for downing the image tiles. GeoConverting is another story. This takes approx. 2.5 hours.
The same happened to me 2 days ago. Google loaded about 10 times faster.
I just tried with Google: 19 minutes download time (ZL 17)
I just carried out an experiment size 9 tile over Wales using Bing zoom level 16 which is my usual download AFS levels 9, 11, 12 and 13.
It took 13 minutes to complete the download, my internet speed is 30 MBsLucky you. Bing is still every slow, even with ZL 16 (Yellowstone NP).

It took me today 4 hours for downloading 1 Bing Grid (size 9), ZL 17, AFS-Level 9, 11, 12, 13 ,14. Some time ago I needed only approx. 30 minutes. What is your experience?

You go into preference, extension or something similar (I have an older mac version, so different), then install, or point to the rmz folder somehow. That should take care of it.
Thank you! I managed the installation.

Je porte mes espoirs vers le futur FS11 (fin 2020)!.
I doubt that the streamed unedited Bing images will look better than the sceneries, we are able to create ourselves with AeroScenery. I had installed TileProxy on FSX years ago. Unfortunately I don't remember, which image source I used. The quality was fine, but the resolution wasn't so great. It only became really good when I stayed in pause mode at one point and the high-resolution images could be reloaded. But let's see. I'm curious too.
Removed Colorado ttx. files from the Colorado DLC and replaced with GOO
I didn't notice that the quality of the original scenery is not so good.

Hi guys,
there are a lot of people who use AeroScenery to create photorealistic sceneries. Some of these sceneries can be found at flight-sim.org or simmarket.com.
Many of you create your sceneries just for yourself.
I would like to know for which countries you created sceneries with AeroScenery. I'd also like to know what resolutions you used and if you did any post-processing on the photos before converting.
I'll start with me:
Due to lack of time and ability, my post-processing is limited to editing the coasts. I use zoom level 17 and AFS levels 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14. Normaly I use Bing.
Here are my areas: Southern Germany, Southern France

there is a plugin: https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=30107
Of course this is for a sketchup a stand alone software, if you're using the web version I don't know how that works.
You can download standalone from here: https://help.sketchup.com/en/downloading-older-versions
Sketchup make 2017, that should work (I don't know because I use older versions)
Hi Michael,
Thank you! I installed SketchUp Make 2017 and wanted to include the plugin, which you mentioned. Could you please kindly tell me, where I have to put this file "FixReversedFaceMaterials_v1.8.rbz"?
Thanks

Please find the converted model from the 3D Warehouse by dbortola, https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/eb2a5c78…nna-di-San-Luca attached. I flipped some inverted faces.
Dear Thomas,
Thank you so much for your help! You did a great job for me. I really appreciate that. The model fits perfectly. I use the 19 m mesh for Italy.
I thank even all overs for their support. Inserting 3D models into FS 2 really seems to be a thing for the pros among us, and I'm definitely not one of them

Hi ussovia, I like your idea!
The model looks nice. I registrated and opened SketchUp (the browser version) and managed to insert the church.
fix it,
What should be fixed?
make sure you apply texture on both sides of each face
How can I do this?
In which format must I export (free version) to be able to open it in ModelConverterX?Thank you for support!
Cheers

Thank you, I'll try it, when I will be back home after weekend.

Guys, you're great! I would not have expected such a lively discussion.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that easy to straighten a piece of inclined ground, although some of you have probably already done so.
Since I'm only interested in the underground of this particular church, the effort to get involved in different programs and possibly to buy payware might be a bit over the top.
Would any of the experts be willing to level the small piece of ground directly under the church for me?
The church is located here: https://goo.gl/maps/qnk5kbiTkxUu27Nb9
That's what it looks like on Google Maps:
And like this currently in FS 2:
Here you see how uneven the underground is:
I would greatly appreciate it if any of you would do me this favor.
Thank you very much

Hi guys!
I converted the church San Luca in Bologna/Italy to FS 2. I have known this church since the sixties from my visits to my grandparents in Bologna. The church has a special meaning for me.
Unfortunately the underground of the church in FS 2 is not straight, so that the church either floats halfway or sinks. Can anyone explain to me how I can flatten the underground of the church so that I can put it properly on it?
Thank you!
Luca

The conversion didn't work without errors. But that is another story.
