Description

The Bf 109E is a single-seated fighter aircraft of WWII which was built more than 33,000 times in numerous variants from 1936 to 1958. The version E, with several sub-versions, was built from the end of 1939 to spring 1941. The engine was the -at that time newly available- aircraft engine Mercedes Benz MB 601-A. Impressive 990 HP accelerate the 2.5 tonns heavy Bf 109E to take-off speed in just a few seconds and to flight speeds of 570 km/h (307 KIAS).
