Lockheed P-38 Lightning

Description

The P-38 Lightning served in World War II as an interceptor and fighter-bomber. Particularly striking is the unusual structure with the two engine fuselage parts and the central cockpit. A total of over 10000 P-38 have been built in various series. Several restored machines are still flying, especially at air shows. The machine called YIPPEE was number 5000 in production. This jubilee was expressed by a special livery.
