so i have been doing a state- and i cant get the pieces to line up- i have done about 6 converts and i match up the coordinates and i yet i have gaps- some small some large in between everything
how are you getting stuff to line up

Hi,
can you describe the kind of gaps?
Small lines, areas of blurry scenery, black strips?
Follow the wiki:
- Use even coordinates in the TMC for the designated border of adjacent areas.
I even use full degrees or at least a half degree as in our example. This may match the Aerofly tiles mosaic. - Activate the images_raw option to create .PNG tiles for comparison.
- Combine the final content into a single folder to avoid duplicate tiles and masks in different sub folders.
Let's get your state scenery to a good result.

im use the geoconvert helper- some area i have small gaps- like 1/5 a tile- others i have about 2 tiles

If you look in the WIKI about GeoConvert advanced topics, you see that you can setup the TMC file so that PNGs can be built from the FSET BMPs and placed in a folder called images_raw. If you look there and see a PNG that has black in it, either get rid of it and the mask that goes with it or get more area in the FSET phase but leave your TMC corner coordinates the same. Your goal is to have no mask tiles - then you will have no bad borders.

whitav8 is absolutely correct, please try this.
Additionally I want to add:
Do not store the 6 conversions in 6 different folders, but combine them step by step into 1 folder.

I referring to the example of wiki, where most of the tiles have masks.
Do you mean we should remove all the tiles with a red cross?
That most of the work is thrown into the trash?

When you run a second conversion job in the exactly lined up adjacent area, the answer is yes.
If you don't have a second job of bordering regions, then no.

Ok. It was as expected. But I want to clarify the limitations of this process. Therefore:
Will this approach work?
I would like to add an area to the north (second conversion):
I delete the masks that create black areas:
Selects a new area that includes and replaces the areas I deleted:
The second conversion creates new masks, and as I delete:
Theoretically, I will then have a perfect "line up" (yellow line). Is that correct?

Right, this is how I understand geoconvert.
Your TMC border line has to be the same for both conversions.Do not forget to combine the files into 1 folder, some tiles duplicated from 2 conversions, will be reduced to single tiles.
Since you have such a nice graphics, I will show you mine
Rodeo
Step 1: Run 2 geoconvert processes, save them into different folders.
Step 2: Combine your results
This is the same for the next level:
Again, combination:

i swore i was lining up the files almost to the tee in the software- ill take a screenshot and show you what is happening

miller3492,
the blurry sections are caused by masking tiles.
Can you confirm, you did this:
Combine in 1 folder, remove duplicate tiles, delete related tile masks.

they are in one folder- i deleted the ones with duplicate names- but i dont know how to edit the image masks- im also user the helper because for some reason i cant launch the geo converter through power shell- rodeo is there anyway i get u to consider making a vid tutorial for this- it so much easier when i can see what you are talking about
-
im downloading a new section currently- im going to try to convert ireland and see if i can see my mistakes
-
mill3492,
thanks for your answer.
You are very close, only 1 step was missing:
When you combine the images into 1 folder and overwrite the duplicates, make a screenshot of the file names.
Then remove the mask files with the same name.Make a test for your current scenery: Remove all mask files from the directory.
This may cause some black stripes along the border of your area, but the blurry sections within will be dissappear. All the best!

ok so maybe my problem was i wasnt overrighting scenery- the that means i have to redo all of SC and Ga
-
this time i replaced the file and it deleted everything i did before for some reason
-
1. Geoconvert job1. Move images to any folder1.
2. Geoconvert job2.
3. Copy result2 into folder1, overwrite duplicate files, but note duplicate file names.
4. Delete masks of duplicate files.
Repeat steps 2 -4 as often as you want.

I got it working by putting everything in separate folders. Now stuff is lining up
