I have been thinking, after playing this simulator, which is really good, why don't we have cabin views. I have been looking at the b737.tmd files but with no luck because it would crash; maybe because I don't know what I am doing. Could someone please help me out with cabin view (passenger view, pref. from window seat bu a wing; not being picky) for either 727 747 a320?

    Thanks,

    Dean

There a several reasons why only a few of our aircraft have cabin views. The main reason is that the cabin in the 737, 747 and a320 is not modelled.

What do you mean. When I go into developer mode, or dev. camera, and “fly” into the cabins there are chairs. I was just wondering if I could get the position of one the the window seat.

I’ve seen people make custom camera view that are in the cabins by altering one of the views coordinates in the tmd file, but never know how they did it

Yes but these cabins don't reflect our usual quality. Compare the inside of our Learjet, C90, Baron or Cessna to those videos you have seen.

In all aircraft I just mentioned you have cabin seat positions. But the airliners don't have a fully modeled cabin, so we put all the cameras outside.

Keep in mind that these are default aircraft, not payware add on aircraft.

    Jan

And what happens if you turn your head with TrackIR or in VR?

I don’t have that. Is there really no way to get the position of the view from inside for the camera views in the plane’s tmd file.

Editing an aircraft TMD file can get you a custom camera position but we don't recommend it as it's easy to mess something up in there.

Also if we update that aircraft it will overwrite the work that you have done.

There are already internal camera views in the aircraft that are fully modeled inside but the larger aircraft we have not modeled the passenger seating so we don't provide a camera for those aircraft.

You can set any position you like in the tmd file.

    Just edit the camera "R0" vector (x = forward, y = left, z = up)

    Thanks you so much!

is the [inCockpit][true/false] mean whether you hear the sounds from inside the plane or something else?

Can I find all the commands/code meanings in the wiki? I’m having a hard time looking for them.

I GOT IT. Perfect thank you
