the performance envelope has changed drastically for the MB-339. I recently had it up to 90,000ft and mach 3+. Although it has been a lot of fun flying it this way, I'm finding it to be unrealistic and thought I would bring it to iPacs attention. Maybe you've got an SR-71 waiting in the hanger for a release someday and your just testing the flight model? (Friendly sarcasm)
MB-339 performance problem.

*IPACS not iPacs. Our company name has nothing to do with the apple name scheme.
We'll take a look at this.
I've tried flying up there and my engine is getting very hot (1200°C and more). Since there is no heat damage modeled at the moment it is a bit unrealistic to use the engine with full throttle up there.

With the rpm at the top of the green arc it will not go above Mach 0.95 in a 15 degree dive, even that is probably generous.

I also noticed a small glitch in the 339. When preforming high g maneuvers, I noticed that the flaps and ailerons have wing flex, but the wing itself doesn't. Definitely a fun little plane though.

I've noticed that too and already made a fix, will be available soon(ish) hopefully.
