Thank you for the unexpected update on the F-18. It's so cool to have a kind of functional TACAN, but I can't figure out how to set the course (the arrow in the HSI and the HUD) Is that function not implemented yet? And I guess the ADF doesn't work either?

On the lower display there is a rocker switch that you have to move to either side to change the course.
A "SEL" will also pop up on the up front control if you do that. Type in any course you like and press enter.
Standby for an in-depth tutorial for the new features after Christmas.

The UFC always blanks after a while, only the autopilot page is kept active when the autopilot is on..
ADF can be tuned via BCN sub-page. It should display some triangle on the outside of the HSI rose.
By the way, overloaded, your angle of attack is too low on this approach. Use the pitch trim inputs to set the target angle of attack and trim it for the center of the E-bracket on your head up display (the one next to your flight path). When the wings of the flight path symbol (little airplane) are aligned with your center marking on the E-bracket you should be at the perfect attitude for a safe landing. Use only small thrust inputs to correct this, barely any elevator needed.

Yeah I was trying to hold 132-133 knots but small pitch changes hit the speed big thanks to the short wings, reaching for F12 to take a pic or two is a distraction.
Thanks for the ADF tip Jan and Merry Xmas to all in Tübingen.

I've tried several NDB frequencies in the BCN sub-page and no triangle or any other kind of indicator are showing in the HSI. Am I doing something wrong?

Anybody get the ADF working? I tried VHF VOR and MW NDB frequencies with M selection, volume up and BCN on and off, no luck.
