Has anyone watched the RFDS series on tv? It is on PBS in the US and Channel 4 in the UK. I love the scenery and the aircraft and maybe others might too if you can get it. They are using actual RFDS aircraft and it set in Broken Hill NSW.

I called into the nice Air Museum in Wangaratta near the Victoria/NSW border and saw one of the rare 3 engined DH Heron/Dove-like types the DHA-3 Drover. It looked like a modernised Ford or Fokker Trimotor or Ju 52/3M. Used by the Australian Flying Doctors, the 3rd engine would be useful on a very hot day.
