Try the Hong Kong images available from flight-sim.org and the new streaming option. Result: quite an impressive Hong Kong scenery. However the new airport is not so nice and of course Kai Tak is missing and the images would need water colour editing.
I don't know if this is any consolation: I made a restored version for Hong Kong a long time ago. I just haven't uploaded it yet because it's just a tile and it's not worth uploading yet. But here are some previews:

That looks great. You will probably need to reskin that helicopter in a PRC colour scheme.

This is great news, I am currently on a flight to Hong Kong (VHHH), will this be included in the pack? Do you have an estimated date for release?
