Aircraft conversion

Aerofly FS 4 has many improvements under the hood and a lot of TMD objects and parameters were renamed to unify them and to streamline development.

The SDK does not convert legacy aircraft. I made a tool that converts the TMD file and if you send the aircraft to me I can convert it for you, just not right now, perhaps in two weeks from now.

If the aircraft are not too complex you can also do the conversion yourself. It's mostly a search and replace operation in the TMD along with a restructuring of the TMC file, cleaning up any remaining repaint.tmr files and changing them to option.tmc files. And at the end you just convert the aircraft files as usual using the latest Aerofly FS 4 to generate the preview.
