Does the Trondheim(værnes airport) area have desent orthos?

It would make a nice one hour flight from engm, and also for flights to enbo or enev 😃

The area around the airport is ok. Further east is a somewhat poor area. Also some bad areas between the south and up to Trondheim.

    Thanks Hartman :)

In my opinion you do not have to cover all area's in between airports, not in the first place anyway. But that is just my opinion :)

In fact, I totally agree. I have considered the same. :)

But often the tile around an airport hangs together with the surrounding area. For example, clouds, discoloration, etc. in the "airport-tile" extend beyond adjacent tiles. But I will again consider your proposal in which I see it appropriate.

    So maybe I'm bouncing around a bit. .... ;)

I prefer to see ALL the photo scenery not just around airports.

    Yes, me too. :)

The question is just in what order I should produce the tiles. First the "airport-tiles" - which means that we can fly to all the airports at an early stage. And then fill in areas between the "airport-tiles".

In any case, I have to follow what for me is most practical and provides the least work. Then we'll see ....

Fantastic - as it always rains there (in Bergen) , it will remain a bit “unrealistic” until we get a proper weather engine in AFS2, but I love your work - scenery is stunning!!!

I said at the beginning of this project (South Norway), quote:

For me, airports are one of the most important things in a flight simulator (next to aircraft). I just need a place to take off - and land on. :)

Therefore - if I continue with this project (South Norway) - I prioritize starting with the airport areas - and then replenishing with less important "flying over areas" (the areas between the airport areas).

And I have actually succeeded quite well with that prioritization. Of the 27 uploaded zip files so far - 25 zip files contain airport(s). :)

And the airport hunt continues. Yes - I discover that Voss is a wonderful scenic area. After hard work finding and combining several ortho sources - here are a couple previews from Voss:

    Thank you. This is exciting.

ENSD (Sandane). Maybe difficult because it requires some adjustment of the terrain (mesh). http://www.fscloudport.com/icao/ENSD.htm
