Window glass missing on 747

Just flying the 747 and it looks like the window glass is missing bar the rear section

Hi Matt,

As far as I know our 747 is a combi. That's why there is a cargo door as well.

Not sure I follow what your saying Jan but perhaps I did not explain very well what I meant. The look of the 747 has changed from last time I used it but not in a good way... Shame as I like the jumbo. The window cut outs look as though they do not have any glass in them with opacity and reflectivity in them... They look like the passengers are breathing fresh air.

They're alright so I don't think that that is a priority or even a consideration. At least the old callouts with the British voice (which kind of sounded like the Star Wars character Grand Admiral Thrawn) are gone. The British callouts would be cool to have in the Concorde though since I don't think it had Airbus-style automated callouts or any at all.

I have been getting a bug recently on the B737-500 where the callouts don't even work though.

I went to use some of the user created repaints for the 747 and now I just get the default KLM one. I went to the trouble of adding the option.tmc so these would work now you seem to have changed something else so they don't work. This sort of thing is getting very tiresome especially as you you don't seem to give us any heads up.

Yes, the repaint texture names have changed and as an undesired side-effect we accidentally broke the user made repaints. This was not intentional, otherwise we would have given you a heads up.

Hi Jan

That change may have happened over two years ago but its a gift that keeps giving . Most of the available repaints haven't been updated with an option tmc so when you install them you have to go through and manually do the edit. The key point I guess is its going to be fixed or should I just delete all the user created repaints for IPACS aircraft.

I checked with the designer. The rear windows look different because there is no cabin behind them. There are blanks installed to hide the cargo compartment in this combi variant of the 747
