Has anybody else went from a 50" TV to a smaller TV, like a 43". I'm thinking of downsizing. Not sure if I want to stay with 50" or not. I'm starting to feel the 50" is too big. Any advantages to downsizing...?

Hmmmm ....... are you using a tv as a computer monitor? If so then in my opinion I think that yes 50" would be too big for most of us. If you are using it just as a tv then of course it depends on where you sit in relation to the tv. If you have it in a small room then 43" should be good enough.

yes its my PC monitor. I thought I'd go bigger to the 50" but after a few months now I'm realizing maybe I went too big. I'd be curious to know if there is anybody else here using a 50" like me...? 🤔

I have a 34 inch Samsung curved screen that runs in 1920x1080 that I am very happy with. That suits my old eyes.

Main reason I went 50", my eyes, wearing glasses now 😔 but I find it to be harder on my eyes now and I think because its too big, I rub my eyes a lot now looking at the screen and im 4 feet away from it. Maybe time to go back to a 43" like I had before the 50".

I am arms length away from my screen which is about 3 feet I think and I wear glasses too. By the way, a lot of folk my wife included have had lens replacements and they no longer need glasses. Would that be a possibility for you? My wife has had really thick (and expensive) glasses since early childhood and she was amazed at what she could see after her surgery.

I use about 4" Display ... but 2 of them ...
when you fly in 3D VR ( Pimax Crystal )
you never fly on a 2 D Screen again

Do you see glare at night from bright lights? I got cataract surgery and the synthetic lenses are super-human, best thing that ever happened to me.
I have a basic 28" 4k behind my keyboard. Nice IPS monitor colours to match the new eyes, their colour is ten times better too.

Looking like I go back to a 43" now after everybody's input. As far as surgery, I'm only 57, my eyes aren't that bad yet. I have 2 sets of glasses. One set for reading, computer, etc. (office transitional) they call them, and my other ones for driving with transitional bifocal's, tinting, polarized, etc. I drive for a living so I needed glasses to keep my license.
