Cool, thanks! (I suppose the Hebrides have been included in one of those downloads?)

That's a useful link, I didn't know about that. If I may make a small suggestion it would be to edit your very first post and include this link in it.

Unfortunately I just checked and cannot find it in the new folder Great Britain that "Higgy" set up on the Flight-sim.org server?
It maybe its been over looked and needs to be moved into the new link..

Oops, the article https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…outer-hebrides/ was unfortunately not linked to the category https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index…-great-britain/.
I have corrected it.

Outstanding work IZ0JUB
It's very much appreciated, also with the assistance you have had from others. I've only gone for Scotland so far but now pulling down the rest of the UK. Donation will be on the way to the site as well.

Thank you "donka" for your kind words. I am currently working on the Isles of Scilly to complete all of the Great Britain Project I started less than 3 months ago. A donation to the Flight-sim.org server would be greatly appreciated as without this I would not be able to share my work with the FS 2 community.
Kindest regards, Michael.

GREAT BRITAIN CONQUERED
I have come to the end of my journey and completed the Great Britain Project which has been accomplished in under 3 months with over 800 hours of computer work downloading images and hand editing as required.
I would like to acknowledge the support from the following:
Nick Hod for his AeroScenery
Arno Gerretsen for his ScenProc
Paint.net photo editing software
"TomSimMuc" for making the 25 M mesh which brought the photo scenery to life.
"Apfelflieger" for making airfields and airports.
"brunnobellic" for making the special objects for Scotland.
"KJKsimmer" for his encouraging words and the "Perfect Gift".
THANK YOU.
Michael.

A great 'thank you' to IZOJUB for completing the largest area sofar as extra scenery for AFS2. My 'hat-off' for the 800 hours of computing in the last 3 months to please the AFS2 flightsimmers and I will contribute via a donation to the flight-sim.org because a performance like this must be at least compensated. Not only for this UK-project but also for all your previously made sceneries.

Channel islands for one. I could name some more but don't want to get into a politcal mess. Let's enjoy what we have.
IZ0JUB if you have some way of accepting donations, I would love to buy you a beer or two (or coffee) to say thanks.

IZ0JUB Once you have had a rest, would it be posisble to summarise or share some notes on the tools used, best practices and other observations during this marathon session? I would love to contibute some scenery too but this for me is the inspiration and template!
