I've been exploring the Napali coast on Kauai with the EC135... you guys have nailed this gorgeous scenery. Flew this coast in another recently released sim and it is not even close to the beauty that has been modelled in AFFS2. Hit it out of the park.

Thanks Mr. Bean for your nice remarks.
The team is cranking up to make a push to complete Maui County for our 2nd major release. We were delayed with delay after delay but now have the updated and color matched orthos for checking.
The delay can be traced back to COVID-19 and follow on effects.
We will get some images posted in a day or two. 😎

I made my normal rounds this morning and all is well. Yes, a lot could be better, but, we must lower our expectations and go with what we have. We put a ton of work into this area of Maui. Check out the new mall off the left wing and the Harbor is active with a Cruise ship and a Container Ship loading/unloading. We have moving road traffic in and about the area.
The large building at the airport is the Rental Car facility. Probably the largest business on Maui prior to the Pandemic. Yes, we have small aircraft flying the pattern here also. Sailboats animated offshore.
Middle pic is a touch and go to show the runway details.
4th pic - a look over to the left at the helicopter and GA ramp at Maui
and finally the main terminal and air carrier gates.
enjoy.

Love the POA (aka Pride of America aka Price on Application)! Great cruise ship and the only US manned and built one in the world I believe.

Thank you very much and my sincere thanks sir! I love flying in Hawaii and would buy the aerofly fs2 even if I only had this scenario ... I love flying between the islands!
Cheers.

Hang on a little longer. We want to get it completed as soon as we can.

Thank you all; this is my first "addon scenery".
I do have a question ... is the "tower view" working? I downloaded all version 3's.

Thank you again...
Question: Why can't I enter PHNL in a flight plan?
I have the complete scene.

Richard.

Question: Why can't I enter PHNL in a flight plan?
My best guess would be that it's not in the IPAC's database.
This is probably due to the wrong naming convention given to the ICAO
Incorrect name given to ICAO. Should be only 'PHNL'
Edit: Possible fix?
Aerofly FS 2 Flight Simulator\addons\scenery\US_HI_oahu\places\airports\phnl_runways
- Go to this folder and then edit TSC file 'phnl1'
- Change and edit line 11, the highlighted Yellow entry to 'PHNL'
Error shows up in the TM.log

PHNL is in the database. If you use the user made scenery you should delete the PHNL entry in TSC in the buildings folder where it should not have been entered at all. And then edit the airport TSC file rename the PHNL1 to PHNL as it should be. Then the airport is much more visible on the location map since it is correctly identified.
Additionally you should move all scenery airports into a subfolder "airports".
The default user scenery does not do that, which slows Aerofly down at startup.

I always get a bit confused where to add user scenery (that includes airports) like Hawaii. I currently place them in my user/document/Aerofly FS2/addons/scenery Folder. Should I be making an airport folder in this addons folder and move things over to it? Thanks.

No, all of the airports for Hawaii are already inside of an 'airport' folder.

Sorry but I do not see anything in my user/airports folder, or any document/user folder. I copied everything in to folders I already mentioned and they work fine but I must say they do take a little long to load (but no real big deal, like only30-40 seconds).
