First official snapshots of the long awaited France VFR Paris - Ile de France VFR AIRPORT Pack, ready for release as an extension to Aerofly FS 2 - France VFR - Paris-Ile-de-France DLC V2.0 for a Happy New Year 2021 to all !

11 photo-detailed GA airports spread over Ile-de-France + a free extension to LFPG Charles-de-Gaulle major airport with a textured ground polygon.

Check the images HERE in the Gallery - Can you recognize and name them all from snapshots?

Make sure to first update Aerofly FS 2 - France VFR - Paris-Ile-de-France DLC to the V2.0 (free update on Steam. Other channels please contact FranceVFR).

The Regional scenery update has been released by Xmas, should be available on Steam anytime soon.

I don’t understand why you have such comment. The cityscape in this DLC is great. Airports were bad but here they are making up for them. The price is reasonable. I don’t think there’s anything to complain. Furthermore, we should be thankful that there’re still developers paying attention to Aerofly. Please don’t start this year in this forum with passive attitude.

Let's assume that no one would have created this DLC. Then this DLC would not be missed by any user. Now someone has created this DLC and made it available for free. So everyone can download the DLC and try it out. And if you like the DLC, you leave it on your computer, otherwise you delete it. Neither by the one nor by the other one arises a damage. Just because you don't like a DLC, you don't have to leave the whole simulator.

I am glad about all who support this flight simulator actively with adons.

Solche DLC hatte ich nicht einmal bei Microsoft 2004,und da waren es Standard Flughäfen.
Sie haben eine Falsche einstellung,was nützen Ihnen schlechte DLC..wenn es keinen gefällt, da gehen die Leute dahin wo es besser ist.
Das nützt hier keinen!!!!

Tut mir leid,aber mit sowas kann man keine Leute überzeugen zu wechseln.

I checked it. LFPG now has ground texture and looks much better than before. There’s issue regarding mesh but I’m sure it’s not a big problem and they can fix it soon. I can’t see why you’re so disgruntled about this update.

Amazing, because I don't have it in Steam... everything that has been updated so far is the Paris - Ile-de-France VFR scenery, to match the new folders convention in Aerofly FS2.

Charles-de-Gaulle is out of scope of this product, as stated. It has just received a textured polygon to enable runway usage and remove aircraft from the ground texture. It's a free extension that however doesn't make a detailed airport.

Can you please show us a picture of Chavenay airport, for instance ? or Coulommiers ?

Yes, LPFZ St-Cyr belongs to the Paris IDF VFR base scenery, together with LFPN Toussus-le-Noble and LFPL Lognes.

LFPX Chavanay, or LFPK Coulommiers, for instance, belong as well as 9 other GA airports to the France VFR Paris - Ile de France VFR AIRPORT Pack your report having downloaded from Steam. Could you please show some snapshots ?

Hi,

I just bought France VFR Paris IDF. I did the circuit in Lognes where I flew some time ago with a friend pilot on Katana. Everything is there, the highway as a landmark then the circuit with the famous red and white checkerboard on the roof of a building. Great!

I can't wait to see the update and go to Chavenay where I flew a few times on DR400.

Also, I will try to find the complete circuit around Paris with all the constraints of heading and altitude. It was quite challenging...to say the least...
