UH-60M

  • You must buy the aerofly aircraft addon dlc in order to get the UH-60M.

  • Its communicated this way in the Blog:

Yes I noticed that. It was slightly unclear when I got the Aerofly FS4 that the Deluxe bundle was needed to get any new aircraft in the future. Or the aircraft DLC (thought it was for that particular fixed wing which was included).

    Has this been said anywhere?

It's optional, but clearly each Deluxe pack includes additional addons, like with MSFS or other games on Steam for that matter, and even with other platforms. This is not new and has always been so, like in the days of FSX ;)

    Best wishes 😉

  • From a marketing/sales/customer standpoint the problem is not the deluxe pack, the problem is that later published addons can only be bought when buying the whole package. I think the price of the aircraft addon is reasonsble but customers think they have to pay for something they do not want if their interest is the UH-60M only.

I would recommend to offer single addons, maybe also bundles (military, warbirds, airliners) so a customer can pick whatever he wants and just pay for that.

  • The add-on is half price when purchased together with FS4 as I did. I am sorry for you guys who did not buy the deluxe version.
On the other hand, just one payware helicopter for Xplane will be 25-40 euro too...

  • The aircraft add-on DLC costs €40 at my place for nine aircrafts - bought as a bundle this drops to €20. Pretty much the price a single aircraft costs in any other simulator I know of, with prices ranging between €20 and €80.

  • IPACS were long overdue new revenue from the PC side, they did a huge amount of FS2 development and much of the add-on revenue went to outside companies. Improvement needs funding and considering what is likely to come in the next few years I think we got and are getting a good deal.
