Dear admin
I have just updated: the Network menu is not available without launching Aerofly from Steam.
Regards
I encounter problem when spawning at Tokyo or Kansai (probably more).
There's an initialization then you span in an empty airport. After a while the airport appears the plane is shaked until Aerofly consider a plane crash or not it depends.
(Low internet connection)
Tokyo buildings are floating (first attachment).
Kasai (two other attachments, the first in water and then the airport appears the plane is ejected and down to the ground)
Taking off from Tokyo towards the town is too much for the Mac. It less than 1 fps. Maybe 0.2 fps.
Whatever, do you intend to offer or sell a Japan DLC?

Mac ?as in MacBook and iMac also what's the specs

Specs that support New York in all ultra
@FrankLFRS: We might offer a DLC for offline usage in the future, but not at this point. You wil however never get all the content available compared to the streaming option, it's just too much data.

No problem for all the content
I tested it on my Mac (see signature), I almost always got well over 30 FPS.

In my case, it could also be my internet fault

In my case, the memory usage in Streaming around Tokyo suddenly reaches 9 Go whereas IT HAS NEVER GONE more than 6 Go. Please note that X-plane 12 uses 12 Go memory usage with no lags.
I took off from Tokyo RWY34R and just after takeoff things come terrifically slow (even with a high speed internet / 150 Mbps iPhone hotspot connection).

I thing I have the same problem as you: when I takeoff, the flight sim start to slow down a lot. This happen since yesterday update on any aiport.

And I confirm no problem taking off in front of NewYork City or LA with Streaming OFF
No issue on our Apple M1 and M2 MacBooks, but maybe reduce the quality settings and see if it improves? Tokio is extremly populated and features lot's of buildings. Might be too much for a specific Mac computer, depending on how much RAM you have? Our Mac's have 16 GB which should be ok.

Yes it’s a 16 GB memory MacBook Pro.
What’s strange for me is that Aerofly always takes 6 GB memory, even at New York or LA. Always always always. But here suddenly it took 9 GB as if something is failing about memory.
I’ll send the tm.log file…
And I know that another flight simulator takes seamlessly 12 GB.
Dear admin
I restarted the MacBook Pro and everything runs seamlessly now . The brand new macOS Sonoma must have put its s##t on here
.
Aerofly uses 10 GB memory at Tokyo and it is OK .
You can see the tm.log file attachment if you have a moment, but it is the tm.log of a OK session.
Thank you for taking time to take care of the problem I encountered.
Oh by the way, what would be cool is to be able to set network ON or OFF without launching Aerofly from Steam .
Thanks a lot.
PS: I'm a bit ashamed, because I work as an IT, I should have restarted the computer first!
Glad to hear it's working again. The amount of memory is irrelevant for how your performance should be, other factors contribute to the overall framerate.
Dear admin
Finally I found a way to reproduce it.
With Streaming, I tried New York (DLC loaded) and Tokyo. Both taking off toward the town. With a flight plan Tokyo is almost jammed, New York is laggy. The both towns run seamlessly with no flight plan.
4.03.01.22 (20231012).
Attachments: 4 TM.LOG files with or without flight plans + the flight plan.
A320.
ANA livery but it is the same with another.
No controller / no other Thrustmaster devices.
MacBook Pro / M1 Pro 16 GB RAM.
The MacBook Pro M1 Max 32 GB RAM of ApfelFlieger passes Tokyo because it is over powerful whereas mine is just powerful enough to feel New York laggy under a flight plan.
There's a différence with or without flight plan from Tokyo and probably all other towns.
Best regards
[EDIT] One more thing: it is the same with Streaming OFF, New York with a flight plan is laggy, without works seamlessly!
I am currently working at airports for Japan (this should actually be secret until christmas) and one airport which I have build, has already been done by Ipacs.
So, could I get a detailed list of all airports you have created so I don't have to do doubles again.
