Hey, developers out there, Is there a possible way to add a multiplayer, because infinite flight and x-plane have these features and thus would make aerofly a much better simulator.

    Thanks:thumbup:

Unfortunately we don't have anything new to mention about multiplayer at this time.

It's been on our list of investigative features for quite some time.

Imagine being able to sit in VR and see a co-pilot (with their hand movements) and you both operate the plane! Having said that I'd imagine MP probably would take a significant chunk of time to get implemented.

I also like to think it could be a great way to fly with other users and give a tour of each persons cultivated home area. Assuming that's how it could work. Seeing as this would be quite some time from now, I should have no problem finishing my project ^^

That is what I would like, also. At least for now, it would be sufficient to limit the number of multi-players to just 2 flying in the same scenery area. Also, assume that your partner is flying an aircraft that you also have. Then all FS 2 would have to do is communicate the current latitude/longitude/altitude of your partner's aircraft, and render it in your out-the-window view, along with showing your own aircraft and the local scenery. All the resources needed for simulating the multiplayer flight are local to your own machine except for the three spatial coordinates updated every fraction of a second. Likewise, your partner is receiving the same information about your aircraft. With a little practice you should be able to do formation flights like this:

but with just two aircraft, not seven...

    Hi all

its realy boring. Its on the list since Aerofly FS1 and i think ist never planed to realise it! ;(

Take a look on DCS World. Best VR integration i ever see in a simulation. Stable Multiplayer for realistic formation flights.

Missing multiplayer support is the reason why i fly in DCS and no longer in Aerofly.... what a pity....

    just my 5 cents

That is an impressive simulator, at least visually:

How are accurate are the flight dynamics modeled?
